Course Description: Designed for K-12 classroom teachers, physical education teachers, and music teachers who wish to heighten their students motivation by involving them in popular American Folk and Multicultural Dances. Participants will learn a number of multicultural dances from around the world that include various formations such as single circle, double circle, Sicilian circle, trios, squares, and lines. The course is sequential and fun. It is designed so that all teachers can immediately and effectively teach dance in their classrooms. This class is a great way of introducing and incorporating dance and rhythms into your curriculum.
